Quick Tip: Open Firefox Searches in New Tab

Today let's share a quick tip for Firefox. Mozilla Firefox is a free and open source web browser developed for Microsoft Windows, OS X and Linux (including Android) coordinated by Mozilla Foundation.

Although there are other similar web browser solutions a lot of Firefox users complain that the default action for searching with the Firefox toolbar is to open the search in the current tab which can drive some people crazy, but thankfully there is an easy fix.

Step 1
Type about:config into the address bar

Step 2
Put the following into the filter box:

Step 3
Double-click the value to change it to true.

Done! So now every time you search with the Firefox toolbar it will open the search in a new tab.
